Across the borders (theater lab) – Miguel Rocha (Brazil)
Continuing the successful experiences of the past two years (in 2016, with the newly formed group In Legitimate Self-Defense, of black artists and, in 2017, with a group of high-school students), the 2018 edition organizes a six-day theater lab, targeting exclusively immigrants and refugees. Conducted by the Brazilian artist Miguel Rocha, director of the Heliopolis Theater Company (São Paulo), the lab aims to show the creative and collective expression of foreign residents in the city of São Paulo.
