Synopsis
Created from an experience of sexual abuse suffered by Angélica Liddell, the performance Yo No Soy Bonita (I Am Not Pretty) presents a criticism on the patriarchal society and on the roles imposed on women from birth. In dialogue with the Gothic aesthetics, which includes a live white horse on stage, the performer executes short and intense acts through which she seeks to exorcise the pain and draw social violence in a poetic way.
