Synopsis

The set features a huge image of Christ’s face, created by the Italian painter Antonello da Messina (1430-1479). On the Concept of the Face, Regarding the Son of God unfolds in three independent scenes. In the first, a son looks after his father, suffering from fecal incontinence; in the second, children interact with the figure of Christ; and in the last, the huge image of the Son of God is transformed. Created by the Italian director Romeo Castellucci, the show is part of a performing research cycle dedicated to the human face.
