Synopsis
In the version of the Lithuanian director Oskaras Koršunovas, the classic Shakespeare text is transposed into the space of a dressing room, with it’s bright mirrors that, little by little, become the Kingdom of Denmark. Reflections on life and theater appear beneath the staging surface, investigating the role-play on the “to be or not to be” of the theater. The mirrors on the set also direct these questions to the spectator, reflecting on the scene.
