Synopsis:
The show examines the tragedy of contemporary man, trapped in his small personal world, someone who has abandoned the ability to interfere in the world. The play creates an opposition to the myth of Prometheus, known for sacrificing himself to give mankind the power of fire. With the use of chairs and spaces created by lighting, “Anti-Prometheus” is constructed as a performative game whose rules defy the actors and the audience. Inspired by Beckett, the show explores fragmentation to create a scenic polyphony of fine and abstract character, clashing together text, light, sound and movement.
