Eleonora Fabião and Igor Dobricic introduce possibilities of coming together among the participants of MITsp and local artists and technicians. They meet to open in the festival a space for interaction and exchange between creators of diverse contemporary scenes. Eleonora is a performer and researcher on experimental performance born in Rio de Janeiro. Igor is a playwright in the field of dance born in Belgrade.
–— encounters –—starting point is a project developed by Igor since 2009 -“Table Talks” – and the research on performance and the poetics and politics of encounter being elaborated by Eleonora through artistic and theoretical practices since 2008.
The proposal is to perform for two consecutive days – March 11th and 12th, always starting at 10:30h – collaborative and dialogical practices. Encounters between the familiar and the unfamiliar; between materials, tools, and objects; visions, convictions, thoughts; among trajectories, histories, and circumstances.
Participants can attend one or both days. It’s recommended to attend both.
