Synopsis
In the 80s, a group of young left-wing activists gather in a drab living room to receive paramilitary instruction aimed at overthrowing the military dictatorship in Chile. With subtle humor and penetrating insight, Escuela illustrates the struggle and yearning of a lost generation prepared to use any means necessary to achieve justice and freedom. The show, although located in a particular Chilean historical period, echoes the recent public acts of political resistance and the spirit of demonstrations that have been taking the streets of different countries.
