ABOUT
Noá Bonoba is an actress, screenwriter, filmmaker, casting coach, director, and playwright. She is a PhD researcher in the Graduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Ceará (PPGCOM/UFC), where she studies trans cinematographies and the possibilities of restructuring Brazilian audiovisual production through key areas such as education, filmmaking, redistribution of access, and affirmative policies. She is the Director of Decentralization and Research at the Association of Trans Professionals in Audiovisual (APTA). She also holds a master’s degree in arts from UFC and a teaching degree in theater from the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Ceará (IFCE).
Idio Chichava is a Mozambican dancer, choreographer, and artistic director. He lives between Mozambique and France, where he collaborates with the company Kubilai Khan Investigations. In his hometown, Maputo, he founded the collective Converge+ and has worked to promote artistic exchanges while also teaching dance in communities. His productions create spaces where inner strengths can be explored in connection with other bodies.
Jéssica Teixeira is an actress, producer, director, and playwright. She holds a degree in theater and a master’s in arts from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Currently, she uses her “strange” body as the raw material for her research, which resulted in two solo performances: E.L.A. (2019) and Monga (2024), the latter nominated for the 35th Shell Award in the directing category. In film and audiovisual, she has acted in short films such as Noz Pecã (2024), Partindo do Princípio de que a Terra É Plana, Sou Toda Curva e Desvio (2023), Possa Poder (2022), Curva Sinuosa (2021), the feature film Assexybilidade (2023), and the series Os Outros (2023) on Globoplay.
