SYNOPSIS
Over two sessions, artist Olympia Bukkakis shares the foundations of drag performance drawn from her 16 years of experience in basements, bars, and theaters. Participants will learn to use the gender knowledge already consciously present in their bodies, as well as refine lip sync techniques and the structuring of a short performance. The second day will be dedicated to developing solo (or group) presentations, with individual guidance, culminating in an open showcase at the end. The workshop is inclusive and open to all levels of experience and to all gender and sexual identities.
This is an initiative of the Goethe-Institut São Paulo in collaboration with MITsp.
