WORKSHOP
Performance practices, a positioned look
WITH Guillermo Cacace
Argentinian director Guillermo Cacace, who is presenting the play Gaivota at this edition of MITsp, is giving a four-hour workshop aimed at artists and people interested in acting with previous experience. At the meeting, the artist introduces principles for freeing the interpretation from the artifices that weaken its scenic power. The idea is to empty the act of acting of possible resolutive efficacies, proposing the deconstruction of control and making room for fragility and trembling. Feeding the unstable and welcoming the poetic and porous body, the meeting seeks the vulnerable as the strength of acting.
