ABOUT
Silvana Garcia is a director, playwright, and researcher. She holds a Ph.D. in Performing Arts and is a retired professor from the School of Dramatic Art at the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP). She is also the author of Teatro da Militância, As Trombetas de Jericó: Teatro das Vanguardas Históricas, and Territórios e Paisagens: Estudos sobre Teatro. She directed Não Vejo Moscou da Janela do Meu Quarto (Lasnoias & Cia., 2014), Senhora X, Senhorita Y (Damas & Cia., 2018), and Casa Tomada (Cia. Escola da Noite, Coimbra, 2024), among others.
Dione Carlos is a playwright, screenwriter, actress, and curator. She has written dozens of plays staged in Brazil and abroad by groups such as Cia. Capulanas de Arte Negra, Cia. Livre, Coletivo Legítima Defesa, and Companhia de Teatro Heliópolis. She has created scripts for various television channels and currently works at Rede Globo. She was an artistic advisor at the Escola Livre de Teatro de Santo André in the Playwriting Program and teaches playwriting workshops across the country. She was awarded the Shell and APCA Prizes in 2022 for playwriting.
Daniele Avila Small is a theater artist, critic, and curator. She is the founder of Questão de Crítica (2008-2024) and author of O CRÍTICO Ignorante – Uma Negociação Teórica Meio Complicada (7Letras, 2015). Her plays have been published by Cobogó and Javali publishers. She has been part of the curatorial teams for several festivals and the Olhares Críticos program at MITsp. Currently, she is a collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGAC/Unirio), with a postdoctoral fellowship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPQ).
