PRACTICE OF CRITICISM
At the invitation of MITsp, AICT-Brasil resumes the Practice of Criticism as a crucial axis for analysis, reflection, and debate on the meanings of theater in the world. Conceived by Daniel Guerra, Ferdinando Martins, Guilherme Diniz, and Julia Guimarães, the initiative proposes a curatorial framework in which critical practice not only accompanies the program but also permeates it, historicizes it, and reinterprets it—this time also occupying new formats in the digital space.
Daniel Guerra is an art critic, editor of Revista Barril, writer, and director.
Ferdinando Martins is a professor and researcher at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), a juror for the Prêmio Shell de Teatro, and a theater and dance critic for the website Deus Ateu.
Guilherme Diniz is a researcher, professor, and critic. He investigates Black theatricalities and dramaturgies and co-edits the criticism platform Horizonte da Cena.
Julia Guimarães is a professor in the Department of Performing Arts at the Universidade de Brasília (UnB) and co-editor of the criticism platform Horizonte da Cena.
