WITH<\/strong> Wallace Ferreira\/Patfudyda<\/p>\n

Guided by the creative research that shapes the repertoire of director, choreographer, and performer Wallace Ferreira\/Patfudyda, this workshop explores the historical, aesthetic, and communal principles of ballroom culture, as well as studies of images choreographed by dissident bodies. In this session, through gestures and poses, the artist and participants develop furtive resistances, conjure ways of remaining in the world, and seek to construct tactics for claiming spaces through presence.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ABOUT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Wallace Ferreira<\/strong>, also known as Patfudyda, is a choreographer, performer, and visual artist. She trained at the Escola Livre de Artes da Mar\u00e9 and EAV Parque Lage, winning the ImPulsTanz \u2013 Young Choreographers Award (2022) and the FOCO ArtRio Award (2024). Alongside Davi Pontes, she develops the Repertoire trilogy, which explores dance as a self-defense training. She directs the performances ATRAQUE and Vogue Funk, where she activates the body as a historical agent, repositioning naturalized codes in social spheres and articulating ways to subvert established languages. In the ballroom culture, she is the Legendary Imperatriz of the House of Mamba Negra.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
