Alejandro Ahmed<\/strong>, a Uruguayan artist based in Brazil, has been the artistic director of the Bal\u00e9 da Cidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (BCSP) since July 2023. Recognized as one of the most prominent choreographers in contemporary dance in Brazil, his artistic approach investigates the intersections between bodies, environments, and technology, pushing the limits of the body and its transformative possibilities. In addition to his work at BCSP, Ahmed is the resident choreographer, artistic director, and dancer at Grupo Cena 11 Cia. de Dan\u00e7a, based in Florian\u00f3polis, Santa Catarina.
