of Afrofabulation, both as a director and as the performer of his Afro drag queen, Barb\u00e1rie Bundi. In this multifaceted practice, his conversation with Alexandra G. Dumas highlights the creative processes behind his fabulations and the performative outcomes emerging from drag and Afro-diasporic worlds.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a420f13 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a420f13\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>BACKGROUND<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Alexandra G. Dumas<\/strong> is a professor at the UFBA School of Theater and at the Graduate Program in Performing Arts (PPGAC\/UFBA). She works as a teacher and researcher in Afro-Brazilian popular cultures and in Black-referenced pedagogies and stage poetics. She is a member of the Marujada de S\u00e3o Benedito in Prado, Bahia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thiago Romero<\/strong> is a director, art director, actor, and arts educator. He holds a degree in art history from UERJ and in theater directing from UFBA and is currently a PhD candidate in performing arts at PPGAC\/UFBA, where he also earned his master\u2019s degree. He coordinates the theater department of Funceb\u2019s Arts Training Center and founded Teatro da Queda. He was a member of Cia. NATA and created the platform DAN \u2013 Territory of Creation.
