Partindo dos temas levantados pela mostra \u2013 a descentraliza\u00e7\u00e3o da arte, os conceitos de centro e periferia, o papel do artista num mundo em conflito \u2013, a francesa Phia M\u00e9nard reflete sobre a identidade e os problemas da Europa de hoje, fazendo um paralelo entre as duas cidades: a alem\u00e3 Kassel, no \u201crico norte\u201d europeu, e a grega Atenas, imersa em crises. Sobre o palco, vestida como uma deusa grega futurista, ela se p\u00f5e a construir uma estrutura de papel\u00e3o, simples e fr\u00e1gil. Em 1998, com <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Grain<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ela fundou a companhia Non Nova, que busca uma nova forma de trabalhar o malabares, por meio da estrutura c\u00eanica e dramat\u00fargica, e se debru\u00e7a sobre trabalhos multidisciplinares, com artistas de experi\u00eancias diversas. O<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> projeto<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I.C.E<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Injonglabilit\u00e9 Compl\u00e9mentaire des El\u00e9ments<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pesquisa sobre a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o, eros\u00e3o e sublima\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais, deu uma nova proje\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 carreira de M\u00e9nard, em especial com a montagem <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">P.P.P. (Position Parall\u00e8le au Plancher)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, de 2008, na qual usava como elemento o gelo. A metamorfose vista no espet\u00e1culo virou s\u00edmbolo de sua transi\u00e7\u00e3o de sexo, ocorrida na mesma \u00e9poca. Depois disso, rodou o mundo com obras como <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019Apr\u00e8s-Midi d\u2019un Foehn<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vortex<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e tornou-se uma importante voz em quest\u00f5es de g\u00eanero. Em 2014, ela recebeu do governo franc\u00eas o <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t\u00edtulo Chevalier de l\u2019Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Cavaleiro da Ordem das Artes e Letras) e, no ano seguinte, tornou-se artista associada do Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Nouvelle G\u00e9n\u00e9raYon &#8211; Centre DramaYque NaYonal de Lyon e do Centre Chor\u00e9graphique NaYonal de Caen \/ Basse-Normandie.
